Respecting your time and our practitioners’ care
At Bowles Health, every appointment is reserved especially for you.
We carefully manage our schedule to ensure each patient receives the time, attention, and continuity of care they deserve.
When appointments are missed or cancelled at short notice, it impacts other patients waiting for care and the livelihood of our practitioners.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment.
This allows us to offer the time to another patient in need of care.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 50% cancellation fee.
No-shows (missed appointments without notice) may be charged 100% of the appointment fee.
Repeated late cancellations may require pre-payment for future bookings.
We understand that life happens — illness, emergencies, and unexpected events do occur. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes, and we’ll do our best to assist.
Pre-Payment for Long Appointments
Due to the significant time commitment required, all 45-minute and longer appointments may require pre-payment at the time of booking.
Pre-payment confirms your place and helps us manage our schedule fairly for all patients.
If you cancel or reschedule with more than 24 hours’ notice, your payment will be fully refunded or credited to your next appointment.
Appointment Reminders
We aim to send SMS and/or email reminder 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. However, if a reminder is not sent, the patient is still responsible for managing their scheduled appointments and contacting us with any changes. This is a courtesy service and does not dissolve a patient of their responsibility to contact our clinic within the specified cancellation windows.
